"Hey, Marylena! Remember me? Sophie! Sophie Miguel! Well, it's Agnarsson now. Yeah, I married into a playable household a while back. And you know what? I never regretted giving up my townie life, or my eternal teenhood. Not once."

Future sisters-in-law Uma Raha and Holly Boyle share a look, as Uma leaves from a date and Holly arrives for one.

Nothing too special about this one, I just like the way it's composed. A little fun with the bubble machine. They wave Julia over, but she declines. She's expecting, after all. (I found out halfway through Holly's date that yes, she has the same swimsuit as Uma.)

At Harrison and Uma's wedding, his lady-relatives show that they're a true Minnesotan family, by continuing to sit around the table and chat long after the food is gone.

Later, the newlyweds share a tender kiss in the middle of all the chaos.

Little Nicole Agnarsson has just aged up and is probably the most gorgeous child I've ever had. I can't stop gushing over how pretty she is. I'm glad I can finally see her freckles. Though, she's adopted, so I've got no one to thank for her genetics.

They say identical twins do everything in sync, but...this is a little ridiculous.

I love these little romantic moments. That's Harrison and Uma from the last post.

And, of course, nothing says romance like a spontaneous slow dance in the kitchen in silence. (I think Genesis is going to be...interesting.)

Connor decides there's no better way to spend his last day than with his little granddaughter. He finished teaching her to walk and taught her the nursery rhyme. (Which sounded quite nice in his old-geezer voice.)

This is definitely one of my better pics. Little Nicole gets to be the first toddler in my game to use the long-awaited activity table, in the nursery her grandpa, great-uncles, daddy, and uncle started their lives in. And she loves it.

Connor survived another rotation, but his wife Cathy didn't. Here she is waving goodbye to her family...who sadly cannot see her and are more occupied with how stinky the dog is at the moment. They were all crying for the rest of the night, though.

The faces sims make while studying.

After three college-years of constantly rolling wants to ask someone on a date but never showing interest in anyone I suggested, Harrison's finally found the one for him. She's a dormie called Uma Raha (which sounds like actual Simlish, like her parents were the kind of people to name their child "Cherish" or "Tarmac") and the two of them are now engaged.

Newly engaged couple Lucas Agnarsson and Emma Owens dance the night away. Harrison's the only one not engaged in the dorm, but I think that'll be changing soon.

What with him taking care of the house and her striving for the top of her career, Emil and Sophie don't get romantic moments like this very often. Maybe that's why they're always all over each other at family gatherings. It's kinda cute~

Emil randomly rolled up a want to invite his older brother Connor over. As I watched the two of them catch up, I started feeling a bit sad and nostalgic. This is likely Connor's last rotation--his life bar is almost at the end--and he was the first baby born in this 'hood. I watched these two grow up together.
Well, for now, he can tell his little brother about how big his granddaughter is getting.

At their wedding, Gabriel (Connor's younger son--at least he got to be there for that!) and his new wife Genesis are the only ones to eat in their new dining room. Guess they wanted a little privacy and a break from Gabriel's ever-growing family.

Finnian's got work, so Reed's the one home to receive the baby his husband adopted. As he cuddles her for the first time, he thinks to himself, "Maybe this could be fun."

With Freetime newly installed, Michael gets to be the first one in the 'hood to have the cliche experience of tossing the pigskin around with your old man. Neither of them are very good at it.

Later, Emil expresses his worries that Michael won't be able to make enough money, seeing as how he has no career goals. Michael reassures his father that he'll find something to do with himself once he gets to college. "And shouldn't you be worrying about Lucas? He's like, a junior, and he still doesn't know what he's doing!"

As he puts his now toddler daughter to bed, Reed thinks to himself, "Yeah...I think I could get to like this."

Michael, the baby of the Agnarsson family, rambles on to his brother about how excited he is to move out. With all his cousins and brothers either in college or graduated, it's a little strange still having just one teen around.

So. Much. Smustle.
(This was taken on Family Day, which happened to be the day after Christmas this week. As you can see, absolutely everyone is smustling but Cathy, who I directed to talk to Gabriel, and Sophie and Emil, who take any opportunity away from their own home to get romantic and have decided to dance together.)

The next day, Finnian and Reed discuss adoption. Finnian's already rolled a want for a kid, but it seems Reed's still stuck in the honeymoon phase, only rolling wants for Finny. "C'mon, babe, wouldn't it be awesome to watch our little tyke grow up?" Ah, well, Reed's a romance sim. They never know they want kids until they have them.

I managed to get the Entire Dorm studying together for about half an hour. They needed it too--exams are right around the corner for just about everyone, and nobody seems to pay attention to their grades anymore.

Finnian and Reed got married on Christmas Day, and so had to invite over the Whole Family. This isn't even everyone. At least a third of them are still outside. I love how big it's gotten. Also note Harrison's season-appropriate attire that I had no idea he had.

The boys return from late-night exams and classes. Julia smiles to herself as she assembles yet another CleanBot. I think she quite enjoys living in a dorm with almost-all her cousins.

Back at Doyle and Lila's, only their own kids were invited over for Christmas. Lila gives Ingrid the stereo she opened this morning, since she has no use for it. (I wish I could find a gift that will give you any Maxis item. The few I get out of mine get boring.) Harrison greets an old friend--"Didja miss me, Bonkers?"

And at Emil and Sophie's, the twins have come home for the holidays as well. Lucas happily accepts a hug from his mother. Keith whines, "Daaad! I'm grown up now!"

After Finnian moved back to his parents' house and married Reed, I was looking forward to taking a picture of their first family dinner together (because I take tons of family dinner pics).

But for some reason I cannot fathom...

...they all decided...

...to have it on the front lawn instead of in the kitchen like every other meal they've ever had.
Maybe this is a tradition in Reed's family?

I successfully managed two dates at a time in my six-student dorm. Though the two relationships are on very different levels...(but the ladies in front ended up engaged by the end of the night.)

Connor and Cathy have a date as well, as it's their last day alone together before Finnian comes home. Benny observes his people.

Out of all the times I've played Marsha Bruenig with my townie aging mod, this is the first time she's gone off to college. With her face both on the door of the room Finnian used to occupy and firmly planted in the blower on the bubble machine, it looks like she's going to have an interesting time.

I never noticed until I saw the twins dancing together that they both picked bathrobes for their PJs. They are determined to stay identical even though I've been able to properly tell them apart since they turned teen.

Different sims get their exercise in different ways, I suppose.

Emil and Sophie's household is rarely without visitors at dinner. They raised three very social neat freaks, just like them.

Roux meets her new daughter Lizzie for the first time.

Having a pillow fight in the middle of your date can sure make a sim feel young again.
